Learn English online and stay safe from the coronavirus
My name is Julia, I am an english teacher and live in London. I normally host and teach students in my home but in view of the coronavirus lock down and travel ban I turned to teaching online. I have been pleasantly surprised and have found there are numerous advantages to it and all my students so far have given me positive feedback. Adults, teenagers or children… everyone seems to love the experience. My only worry now is that they will not want to go back to immersive homestays in the future and stick to online learning ! I myself think I may do a bit of both as I would very much like to continue to teach online as well as start hosting and teaching students in my home again.
Emilie from France
I completed 20 sessions with Julia and have now booked another 20. I want to pursue international studies go to university in an english speaking country and she is helping me prepare for the Toefl test. We are going over all the components of the exam: writing, reading, listening and speaking and I feel so much more confident. She is making sure I have all the necessary skills and strategies to achieve the highest score possible.
Paola from Italy
I have done 10 sessions so far and I am amazed at how much I have already learnt. Not only does my teacher converse with me in English she also gives me exercises, texts and sound clips we work on together online. Live Class is a great system as it is really like having the teacher next to you: you can exchange notes, write and have a conversation. You can also review a lesson even after it is finished and this is really an added value as you can continue to progress even after class
Klaus from Germany
I love this online platform, I can have lessons at the time that suits me and interact with a British teacher from London. Julia has tailor made the lessons to match my individual goals and she has helped me learn in a way which is effective and stimulating. I have already improved my fluency and with role playing we have practised live real-life type job interviews.
Javier from Spain
I liked my lessons with Julia, she made them fun and interesting. I am glad as I improved my school grades and I know Julia can help me with my homework so I look forward to our weekly sessions.
