• Lessons without Accommodation
For students who have already organised
their accommodation. Students must stay in a large town offered by us.
Minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Accommodation without Lessons
Includes meals with your family (half-board*
or full-board**) but no lessons or activities. Reduction of 20% for two
guests sharing a room.
*half-board = accommodation + breakfast and evening meal.
**f ull-board = accommodation + breakfast, lunch and evening meal.
Options
• The Business & Executive Option
Designed for executives and professionals who need
to improve their professional language skills and who require specialised
vocabulary with technical terms, in areas such as medicine, engineering,
law, computing, architecture, tourism etc. Families are carefully selected
to match the student's needs and we try to provide a teacher of similar
professional background to the student.
• Five Star Luxury Accommodation Option
This option is aimed at business executives and professionals and their
families who are used to a very high standard of living and who definitely
require extra comfort. The Five Star Luxury Programme includes Private
Bathroom, a higher standard of accommodation and meals and more individual
attention to the student. More info >
• Exam Preparation/Specialised
Vocabulary Option
- Your teacher
will design a course to prepare you for an exam (Cambridge First Certificate/Proficiency,
TOEIC, TOEFL etc.), or with specialised vocabulary and technical terms,
in areas such as medicine, engineering, law, computing, architecture,
tourism etc. Please note that HLI does not organise the taking of the
exams.
• Cocooning Option
Closer supervision for under 18s. Guarantees that the tutor or
an adult member of the family is at home at all times when the student
is there.
• Private Bathroom Option
Accommodation with your own private bathroom.
• Transfers Option
We can arrange a transfer from the nearest airport, station or
seaport to your host family.
Fixed transfer rates of £65 (Sterling), €65 (Euros) or $65
(US Dollars) one way except for New York ($100), Tokyo ($200) and Malta
(€45). N.B.: Students under 16 MUST take
2-way transfers unless we are informed that they will be accompanied by
their parents on arrival and departure.

• Two students Option
(sharing a room with a relative or friend)
Students choosing the two student option must come with their own partner
of the same language level and on the same dates, since they share the
teacher. Reduction of 20% per student.
N.B.: The price calculator will give
you the price PER PERSON. Please complete two booking forms - one for
each student - and mention the name of the person you are sharing with.
• Accompanying Person
Applies to an accompanying person sharing a room without
lessons.
Aged 0 - 4 = 75% discount, Aged 5-11 = 50% discount, Aged 12 and over
= 20% discount.
Babysitting can be arranged at a cost per hour of £15, $25 or €25.
Option available with full-board accommodation only.
• Fixed supplement for
Activity Expenses Option
When you book activities in the Standard Programme any additional expenses
(travelling costs, museum entrance fees etc.) are paid for by the student,
who also pays for the accompanying tutor. By selecting the Fixed Supplement
for Activity Expenses Option these expenses are added to the total cost
of the course.
Covers both student and teacher expenses. You must book a minimum of 5
hours activities.
